The Department of Microbiology & Immunology, Emory University School of Medicine, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level within the broad field of immunology. While all areas of immunology are of interest, applicants in the fields of mucosal immunity, autoimmunity, tumor immunology, and infectious disease are encouraged to apply. The primary criteria for selection will be excellence and creativity in research and scholarship. The successful candidate will be expected to establish and maintain a vigorous extramurally funded research program, and to participate in our strong graduate and medical training programs. We offer a highly interactive collegial research environment with state-of-the-art research facilities, as well as proximity to and collaborations with the Centers for Disease Control and the Yerkes National Primate Research Center. Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree with at least three years of postdoctoral training.
