Associate Scientist – CAR-T CELL Exploratory Research

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team of professionals in the Exploratory Research group. The candidate will optimize and execute approaches focused on enabling long-term persistence of CAR-T cells. Successful candidates will have a strong scientific track-record with a broad range of cellular immunological assays to support preclinical and clinical development. Work will focus on interaction of CAR-T cells with a variety of host immune cell subsets, and expertise in T cell and NK cell functional assays are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform experiments to evaluate immune cell activity
- Generate CAR-T cells; coordinate efforts to generate and maintain stocks of primary cells and cell lines
- Work closely with multiple research teams to coordinate experiments and sample generation
- Analyze experimental data; contribute to interpretation, planning and design of evolving projects
- Present work in team and departmental formats.
Essential Qualifications
- B.S. or M.Sc. with > 5 years of experience in cellular immunology
- Experience with ELISpot, Luminex/ELISA
- Strong background in multi-parameter flow cytometry (6+ color)
- Expertise in the design of application of cellular methods to assess in vitro immune responses
- Ability to work on multiple projects and maintain flexibility to meet timely project goals
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Sense of urgency
