As the company continues to expand further we have a number of exciting opportunities for motivated individuals to join our team. For this post we are seeking an experienced Cell Biologists to join a vibrant, fast moving and multi-disciplined cell biology team aimed at delivering a pipeline of new enhanced T cell receptor (TCR)-based therapies to the clinic. This group is involved in identifying, characterising and safety testing optimal candidate TCRs for Adoptive T Cell Therapy. The role will involve designing and carrying out experimental schedules involving a wide variety of cutting edge cellular and immunological assays to assess the efficacy and specificity of candidate TCRs.
A flexible, enthusiastic, creative attitude to work, good data management skills, attention to detail and the aptitude to deal with multiple disciplines in parallel projects is essential. Good time management and the capability to work to deadlines will also be key. Previous cell culture and in vitro assay experience is essential, and experience of one or more of the following would be useful but not essential as training will be provided:
- primary T cell culture
- cellular immunology
- lentivirus production
- ELISpot/ELISA
- 3D cell culture
- tissue biopsy processing
- high content imaging
Candidates should have, or soon be completing, a PhD in a relevant subject within a cell biology research lab. Hepatitis B vaccination may be required and costs covered by Adaptimmune if necessary.
