Post-Doctoral Research Fellow – Adaptive Immunity in Allergy

The Beirne B. Carter Immunology Center at the University of Virginia seeks a postdoctoral Research Associate to work in the laboratory of Loren Erickson. The incumbent joins an interactive group of motivated scientists to study the mechanisms that regulate T cell and B cell differentiation in allergy. The research is NIH-sponsored and uses distinct experimental models in humans and rodents to probe the nature of the immune response in allergic disease and define critical signaling pathways as potential therapeutic targets. Candidates must have an M.D. and/or a Ph.D. degree in hand by the start date and have demonstrated expertise in molecular genetics, immunology, or allergy. Candidates must have effective oral and written communication skills. Preference will be given to those with specific experience in human clinical research, mass cytometry, or bioinformatics.
