A post-doctoral position is available immediately in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at The University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas, in the field of host-pathogen interactions and innate immune responses to viruses.

The lab research focuses on the regulation of innate immune signaling pathways by ubiquitin and the E3-ubiquitin ligase TRIM family of proteins, and evasion of immune responses by viruses.

For further information on the research program, visit our website: http://microbiology.utmb.edu/faculty/Rajsbaum.asp.

The potential candidates should have a Ph.D degree in one of the following fields: Biology/Life Sciences, Immunology, Virology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or Biochemistry.

The applicants should have a strong background in Immunology, Virology, Biochemistry and Cell Biology, and demonstrable experience using modern biochemical, cellular and molecular techniques as well as animal models.
