Postdoctoral Position Available
B cell Immunology, Laboratory of David Nemazee, Scripps Research Institute
La Jolla, CA
A postdoctoral position is available to study approaches to generate a universal vaccine for influenza virus and broadly neutralizing antibodies to HIV. We have generated mice carrying germline reverted versions of broadly neutralizing antibodies and are testing vaccine strategies to recapitulate the beneficial response. These projects apply mouse genetics and protein design to the problems of human health.
Our laboratory is in the Department of Immunology and Microbial Science at The Scripps Research Institute, located on the Pacific Ocean in sunny La Jolla, CA.
Experience in primary lymphocyte cell cultures and assays, mouse handling, flow cytometry, cellular immunology, and molecular cloning is highly preferred. US citizens or residents with green cards preferred. Please send a letter of application describing your background and interest as well as a full CV to Emilie Broderick emilieb@scripps.edu.
