A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Andrew Snow, Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Molecular Therapeutics, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, to study genetic and biochemical control of apoptosis in human T lymphocytes. The candidate should be a highly motivated, recent doctoral graduate in areas related to immunology, cell biology or biochemistry (Ph.D.). Applicants should have experience with analysis of signal transduction pathways and regulation of protein expression, flow cytometry, and standard cell biology techniques. Those with expertise in cellular metabolism and related assays are encouraged to apply. Candidates with experience in studying human and/or mouse lymphocytes will be given higher priority. Excellent oral and written communication skills and a track record of peer-reviewed publications are required.
