Research Associate – Exploratory Research

We are looking for a motivated candidate to join our next-generation T cell biology team at Juno Therapeutics. Research Associate-Exploratory Research will develop and run assessments of CAR-T cell phenotype and function. Successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to design and execute studies to support research and development of preclinical product candidates. A range of experience in cellular T cell profiling assays, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot in a fast-paced dynamic environment are required. This position will have interaction with project teams and internal departments to design and execute studies to assess CAR-T cell function and persistence. Strong personal initiative, flexibility and innovative approach to problem-solving are required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- B.S. with > 2 years of experience in immunology research
- Solid capability with multi-parameter flow cytometry (6+ color)
- Proficiency with cellular immunology and T cell functional assays including proliferation assays, intracellular cytokine staining, and Luminex/ELISA.
- Experience with complex cell culture approaches
- Demonstrated independence in data analysis and interpretation
- Ability to work in a high paced team environment, meet deadlines, & prioritize work on multiple projects.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience with cellular metabolic analysis
- Experience working with lentiviral or retroviral transduction systems
- Experience working in industry setting
- Strong verbal and written skills.
